Top Five Tips for Festival BBQ
As we mentioned before, the FREE Argentinian BBQ will be back in a big way (with a few surprises thrown into the mix). We managed to grab some time with Andy, the man behind the meat, to get his top five tips for making use of the communal grills.
1. BYO Meat
Bring big cuts of meat and we will cook it for you! We can handle anything from whole chickens to large roasts. Argentinian fire grills are the best way to cook good quality meat so leave the Sizzlers at home. BYO meat is Friday and Sunday nights only as Saturday night we will be busy giving you free meat!
2. BYO Seasoning
We season the Argentinian way with Himalayan salts and rice bran oil but if you prefer something different bring your favourite rubs or marinades with you.
3. BYO Chilly Bin
Bring a chilly bin to store your meat. The general store at Festival One will sell ice to keep it fresh. If you’re a large group and need to store lots of meat we can help with storage in our chiller truck – email firstname.lastname@example.org to organise this before Festival begins.
4. BYO Knifes & Forks
Bring plates, knives and forks to the Free Saturday night BBQ as we’ll only be supplying the meat. There will be a range of delicious market salads for sale and plates, knives and forks will be provided with this.
5. Don’t Queue
Forget waiting in endless queues! Go to your favourite bands, relax and wait. Rest assured, we promise we won’t run out of meat. No need to wait for ages wasting time in massive cues you will get a good free feed! All of you!
