Transformative Hope is a passion that burns deeply in God’s heart, that He wants us to experience. As God’s hope transforms us, we are to be a tangible expression of His transformative hope to those around us. Working with those who are ‘hopeless’, who believe that they are created untouchable and worthless, the power of transformative hope is humbling to experience. When people catch a glimpse of His love, His compassion, and are exposed to hope in Him, transformation takes place.

Kate and her husband Jonathan have huge hearts for the millions of Indians who fall below the caste system. Known as Dalits, these people (over 250 million) have been exploited and oppressed for centuries, children and adults having little escape from the most degrading of tasks and grinding poverty. Kate and Jonathan established Dignity Freedom Network New Zealand, working to restore dignity and hope to some of the most vulnerable and marginalised women and children on the planet today. Kate has a Masters of Transformational Development and is on the board of Elders at her church. Kate and Jonathan live in Melbourne, have 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws and 2 beautiful grandsons.
